When teeth are lost the dentist can replace them.  There are several alternative treatments available.

Removable Dentures (partial and full) replace some or all missing teeth.  Some people still refer to removable partial dentures as "bridges".  They are not to be confused with Fixed bridges.

Fixed Bridges - replace one or several teeth and stay in your mouth fastened to remaining teeth.

Implants - the newest treatment method can be used with Fixed Bridges or Removable Dentures.
