Most of our older patients prefer to not see as much silver in their mouths during orthodontic treatment, and opt for ceramic or tooth colored brackets.  They have a less noticeable appearance, but are slightly bigger than the metal brackets, break more easily, and don’t move the teeth as quickly as the Viazis brackets.  Ceramic brackets are generally only recommended for our adult patients.
