dissatisfied with the look of the new crown on her front tooth. She
had endured several attempts to remake the crown but the esthetics
remained unacceptable. Notice that the crown on the left looks
shorter and wider than the natural tooth on its right. |

The existing crown was removed and a
temporary crown was constructed with proper contours. The gums were
not altered. Although there are other esthetic issues, changing the contour of that one tooth
produced a major improvement in the smile. |
